Privately-owned Theatres
Privately-owned theatres are the "cherry on the cake" of the Bavarian theatre landscape
The numerous small and medium-sized theatres offer a wider range of performances than traditional programmes do; for example they include genres like cabaret and revue performances. Many of these theatres are supported by the Free State of Bavaria. The website Specific Genres provides information about the independent children's and youth theatre scene.
